Jon Eaton

With a background in electrical engineering and more than 22 years of experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry, Jon Eaton is a principal and the firm’s chief information officer. An expert in database administration and software integration, he has successfully accelerated the adoption of AEC software tools, including Deltek Vision, Newforma, Autodesk products, and Axomic Open Asset digital asset management system. He has deployed four corporate intranets and assisted in the development of multiple database platforms and custom web applications.

Jon’s goal is to help the firm develop a broader understanding of technology. A skilled change leader, he understands the long and gradual process of implementing change within the AEC industry and has lectured on the topic at national conferences. He finds it most rewarding when those slow changes pay off in the long term, allowing the firm to work in increasingly cutting edge and efficient ways.

Outside the firm, Jon is the Deltek Vision user group leader for the Baltimore area and holds quarterly IT roundtables. He is passionate about sharing knowledge, helping smaller firms succeed, and shaping best practices for information technology within the industry.
