Rajesh Kumar Mohapatra has pursued education in the field of computer software engineering and electrical engineering. In 1999, they obtained a Diploma in Advanced Computing from Bytes Infosys India Pvt. Ltd. (CDAC). Prior to that, from 1994 to 1998, they attended Orissa Engineering College where they completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering.
