Mariam Peters has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Mariam is currently working as an Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer at ayoba since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Lucky Star - An Oceana Group Company from 2016 to 2022 as an Executive PA, providing high-level support to the MD, FD, and other executives. Mariam also acted as a liaison between the company and other allied organizations and groups. Before that, Mariam worked at Oceana Lobster Limited from 2005 to 2015 as a PA/Communications, and at South African Sea Products from 2002 to 2005 as a PA. Their earliest work experience was as a CAD Operator at David Hellig & Abrahamse from 1994 to 2002.
Mariam Peters has a diverse education history. Mariam obtained a Bachelor of Commerce - BCom Hons degree in Marketing Management from MANCOSA in the year 2020. In 2016, they completed a Project Management Foundations Online Short Course from GetSmarter, affiliated with the University of Cape Town. Mariam also attended the Stellenbosch Business School in 2014, where they completed the EMDP Programme in Management, Leadership, and Change Management.
Before that, Mariam pursued a BA Com Sci degree in Communications & Marketing from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika, spanning from 2006 to 2010. Furthermore, they completed their Matriculation from Alexander Sinton Senior Secondary school between 1984 and 1989.
Alongside their formal education, Mariam obtained a certification in the Protection of Personal Information Act from Compliance Online (Pty) Ltd. in November 2018.
