Ernest Kaddu

Ernest Kaddu has over 20 years of work experience in finance and administration roles. Ernest is currently serving as the Head of Finance and Administration at Fundación Ayuda en Acción since February 2020. Prior to that, Ernest worked as a Finance Manager at ActionAid Uganda from June 2016 to January 2020. Before that, they held the position of Head of Finance, Administration & HR at Uganda Red Cross society from August 2014 to May 2016. Ernest also worked as a Finance and Administration Manager at THETA Uganda from June 2012 to July 2014 and as the Head of Finance and Administration at Uganda Law Society from September 2010 to May 2012. Additionally, they served as the Director of Finance and Administration at NFA from 2007 to 2010 and as an Accounts Coordinator at CARE International in Uganda from November 1999 to March 2004. Ernest has experience in financial reporting, budget management, human resources, procurement, and office administration.

Ernest Kaddu holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from Makerere University, which they attained from 1994 to 1997. Ernest also has a secondary education background, having completed their UCE and UACE at Kings College Budo from 1988 to 1993. Ernest further pursued their education by obtaining a certification in Accounting (FCCA) from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, which took place from 1999 to 2004. Additionally, they completed a Masters of Business Administration program at Uganda Management Institute in 2012-2013, specializing in Business Management.
