Carl Elgin

Carl Elgin's work experience includes roles at multiple companies. Carl started their career at the University of Michigan Recreational Sports, where they served as a Student Coordinator, Building Supervisor, and eventually became a Program Lead.

In 2013, Carl joined ADP as an Enterprise Storage Intern, where they developed an internal performance monitoring application and collected performance and capacity data from storage arrays. Carl then transitioned to the role of Tech & Apps Mgmt Spec. I, remotely managing enterprise-level storage arrays and coordinating with vendors to troubleshoot issues.

In 2021, Carl worked as a Machine Learning Consultant at resample.io, providing machine learning expertise to clients. Carl then joined Ayyeka as a Machine Learning Engineer, where they are currently employed.

Carl Elgin obtained a Bachelor of Science in Informatics with a concentration in Social Computing from the University of Michigan, where they studied from 2009 to 2014. Carl also attended the University of Michigan-Dearborn, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned. In 2017, Carl enrolled at KU Leuven and completed a Master of Science degree in Statistics in 2019. Additionally, Carl obtained certifications in the field of IT, including the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from PEOPLECERT in November 2014, and completed two courses on the Internet of Things through Coursera in May and September 2016.
