Abigail J Ameri

Abigail J Ameri, PhD, currently serves as a Next-Generation Sequencing Study Manager at Azenta Life Sciences since March 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Bioinformatics Analyst and Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Georgia, where contributions resulted in a second-author publication in *PNAS*. During a tenure as a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow at the University of Georgia, significant work involved elucidating repressive chromatin structure in *Neurospora crassa*, leading to three publications. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Microbiology from the University of Georgia and a BS in Bioinformatics from Ramapo College of New Jersey, complemented by an AA in Math and Science from Rockland Community College.
