Matthew McManus

Dr. McManus joined Azenta in January of 2022 as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Dr. McManus is responsible for Life Science Products, Services and all commercial operations of the company

Dr. McManus has over 25 years of experience in the life sciences industry and was most recently Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Molecular Diagnostics Division at Bio-Techne following its acquisition of Asuragen, where Dr. McManus was President and CEO. Prior to that, Dr. McManus was the President and CEO of PrimeraDx, led the clinical laboratories at the Cleveland Clinic and held leadership roles at Novartis, McKinsey and Company and Procter and Gamble.

Dr. McManus received his M.D. and Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, his MBA from Boston College and his B.A. in Economics from College of the Holy Cross.
