Zakir Ibrahimov

Zakir Ibrahimov serves as the Chairman of the Executive Board at "AzerGold" CJSC since May 2016, following a similar role at Tamiz Shahar (Clean City) OJSC from 2009 to 2016. Previous positions include General Manager at "EVR LTD" LLC and “Azpetrol SRL” in the Republic of Moldova, as well as Head of Strategic Studies, Public Relations, Marketing and Logistics Department at "Azpetrol Oil Company" LLC. Zakir also held the role of Deputy General Manager at EUPEC PipeCoatings Azerbaijan JV and led the Coordination of Special Projects and Logistics Department at "Azpetrol LTD" LLC. Early career experience includes roles in law and business development at “Azticaret” OJSC and the “TAIS” Integration Centre for Youth of Azerbaijan. Zakir holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from Georgia State University and completed Bachelor's degrees in Law at both Baku State University and Leningrad State University named after A.S. Pushkin.
