Pål Remy Østbye

Pål Remy Østbye has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. In 1996, they started their career as a Platoon Leader in the Norwegian Armed Forces and later became a Company Commander. In 2002, they transitioned to the Forsvarets Forskningsinstitutt as a Scientist and Project Manager. Pål Remy then joined EY in 2008, where they held various roles such as Manager, Senior Manager, and Director until 2017. In 2017, they briefly served as the CEO of Zivid Labs before becoming a Consulting Director at Sopra Steria from 2017 to 2019. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as the Chief Commercial Officer at Tieto. Most recently, they held the position of Global Head of Commercial Strategy at Tietoevry starting in 2020 and became the Head of Azets Technology in 2023.

Pål Remy Østbye has an extensive education history. Pål Remy started at The Norwegian Military Academy in 1994, completing their studies in 1996. Pål Remy then continued their education at BI Norwegian Business School from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a Master's degree in Economics and Business Administration (Siviløkonom) with a focus on Strategy. Pål furthered their studies at BI Norwegian Business School from 2001 to 2002, earning a Master's degree in Management with a specialization in HRM. Later, Pål pursued an MBA in Management from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) between 2004 and 2006.
