Edward B. Punzalan has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, holding key roles at various companies since 1989. Currently serving as Director of GMP Manufacturing and Process Development at Azitra Inc since April 2021, Edward B. Punzalan is responsible for establishing and maintaining a GMP facility for topical drug products. Prior to this, Edward B. Punzalan worked at Assembly Biosciences, Inc. as Manager - Drug Product, where program development and decision-making were key responsibilities. Earlier roles include Senior Associate of Drug Product Development at Assembly Biosciences, where Edward B. Punzalan was instrumental in developing GMP-ready drug substances, manufacturing shift supervisor at Agere Pharmaceuticals, and technical expert at Pfizer, where advanced operational and technical support for drug development was provided.
