Elizabeth Strowd has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Elizabeth began their career in 2008 as a Childhood Obesity Intern at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. From 2009 to 2010, they worked at the YMCA of the USA, where they served as a Personal Trainer, Childhood Obesity Exercise Program Director, Lifeguard, and swim instructor. In 2010, they transitioned to Lifestyle Family Fitness as a Certified Personal Trainer. Later that year, they became a Personal Trainer at Retro Fitness, where they stayed until 2014. In 2014, they joined JDavis Architects, PLLC as the Corporate Wellness Coordinator and Front Desk Manager. Elizabeth worked there until 2017 when they moved to Prosource Fitness Equipment as a Commercial Sales Representative. In 2018, they joined Aziyo Biologics, Inc. as a Technical Sales Representative. In 2019, they were promoted to the role of Territory Business Manager at the same company.
Elizabeth Strowd has a diverse education history. Elizabeth began their education at Johnston Community College from 2003 to 2005, where they did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. Elizabeth then attended North Carolina State University from 2005 to 2006, also without obtaining a degree, but with a focus on Biology. Finally, they earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Cedarville University from 2006 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, they hold certifications in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED from the American Red Cross and is a Certified Personal Trainer NASM-CPT from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).
