Nicholas Vandehei currently serves as a Biologist and Project Manager at AZTEC Engineering Group, Inc., a position held since May 2014, and has also held the role of Natural Resources Specialist. Prior to this, Nicholas worked as an Avian Field Technician at the Arizona Game and Fish Department for a brief tenure where responsibilities included identifying breeding and migratory birds. Experience also includes serving as a Biological Monitor for Enscicon Corporation/CH2M HILL, focusing on environmental impact mitigation during the Southern California Edison transmission line project. Nicholas conducted surveys for Willow Flycatchers with SWCA Environmental Consultants and gained research experience at Arizona State University, contributing to various projects related to herpetofauna and ecological impacts. Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Wildlife and Restoration Ecology from Arizona State University, completed in 2011.
