José Pedro Sousa

José Pedro Sousa is a Developer Relations Engineer at Aztec since February 2023, focusing on full stack application development, maintaining tooling and libraries, and fostering community engagement within the Noir language and Aztec L2 blockchain. Prior experience includes serving as a Technical Project Manager and Full-Stack Blockchain Engineer at Polygon Technology, where work involved integrating scalability tools and designing zero-knowledge products. José Pedro has also contributed to eCommerce platform development as a Backend Developer for Burberry and improved UI/UX for Yoox Net-a-Porter as a Frontend Developer. Earlier roles include teaching music and full-stack blockchain development at Block Bastards, where José Pedro created a reward mechanism for the gaming industry. José Pedro holds a Mestrado in Music Education and multiple degrees in Cello from prominent institutions.
