João Gonzalez

João Gonzalez is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software architecture and solutions design. Currently, at Azul as a Principal Solutions Architect and JDK Migration Lead since April 2021, João has previously held roles at Guidewire Software and Aurea Software, where contributions included leading the development of Aurea's flagship product, ACE. Additionally, João co-founded Sigma Commerce, serving as CTO, and has a background in technical consultancy for mobile and web systems. Previous experience includes a tenure at IBM, where João worked as a Solutions Architect, and a role at TAM as a Software Engineer. João holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physics from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo.
