John Cuthbertson has extensive experience in the software engineering industry. John started their career in 1994 at Edinburgh Portable Compilers, where they worked as a Software Engineer. During their time there, they focused on developing Fortran compilers for various platforms and also represented the company on the X3J3 Fortran Standards Committee. In 1998, they joined Hewlett-Packard as a Software Engineer and continued in that role for nine years.
In 2007, John joined Intel as a Staff Engineer, where they worked until 2009. John then moved to Oracle Corporation as a Software Engineer, specializing in the Hotspot Java VM.
