Sergei Grinev has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Sergei started their career as a Junior Software Developer at Lanit-Tercom in 1999 and then moved on to work as a Software Developer at Lasdorf, where they developed multiple small-to-medium size projects and also served as a technical lead. In 2003, they joined Enkata as a Senior Java Developer, and in 2004, they became a Member of the Technical Staff at Sun Microsystems. During their time at Sun Microsystems, they contributed to the development of C/C++ support plugin for NetBeans and SunStudio IDEs and developed internal SQE tools. In 2010, they joined Oracle Corporation as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked until 2013. From 2013 onwards, they have been associated with Azul, initially as a Principal Software Engineer, and then as an Engineering Manager in Test. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Engineering Manager and Managing Director of Estonia R&D Center at Azul.
Sergei Grinev attended Saint Petersburg State University from 1996 to 2001, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Science. In addition, they have a certification as a Sun Certified Programmer for the Java Platform, SE6, from Sun Microsystems, Inc. However, no specific date or year of obtaining the certification is provided.
