Adam Parrish has a diverse work experience in the technology and operations field. Adam currently holds the position of Head of Operations and Information Security at Azupay. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Technology at Solvar from December 2022 to July 2023. Before that, they were the Head of Technology at MONEY3 from March 2020 to December 2022. From September 2017 to March 2020, they worked as the Head of Group Information Technology at Essential Appliance Rentals. Adam's earlier experience includes working as the Head of IT at Make It Mine, where they led the Technology Function and was responsible for the company's digital transformation strategy. Adam also served as a Project Manager, Lead Business Analyst, and Warranty and Resolutions Manager during their tenure at Make It Mine.
Adam Parrish has a diverse education history. Adam began their academic journey in 2008 at the University of Melbourne, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Affairs. After completing this program in 2010, Adam enrolled at Deakin University, focusing on Information Technology. Adam studied there from 2011 to 2014, earning a Bachelor of Information Technology degree with a specialization in IT Security.
In 2015, Adam sought further education in economics and financial management and completed the Core: Credential of Readiness program from Harvard Business School Online. The following year, they attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and received a Certificate in Fintech: Future Commerce, specialized in Fintech Innovation Management.
Continuing their pursuit of higher education, Adam enrolled in Melbourne Business School in 2020. Adam is currently working towards a Master of Business Administration (MBA), which they are expected to complete in 2023.
Adam's dedication to professional development is evident in their additional certifications. In 2014, they achieved the ITIL Foundation certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice. In 2016, they obtained the Prince2 Practitioner certification, also from AXELOS Global Best Practice. Adam further expanded their skills with the Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification from Offensive Security in 2017. In 2019, they completed the Data Engineering on Google Cloud Platform Specialization course through Coursera. Lastly, Adam obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2023.
