Adel Gomez

Adel Gomez has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, starting with their role as Manager of Technical Affairs at Mikart, Inc. from 1996 to 1999. Adel then worked as a Senior Validation Engineer at VTS Consultants from 2000 to 2006. Following that, they joined Amgen as a Senior Validation Engineer from 2006 to 2008. Adel then took on the role of Validation Manager at Shionogi Pharma (formerly Sciele Pharma) from 2008 to 2011, where they managed the Validation Group and provided technical leadership in all aspects of validation. Adel continued their career as the Director of Manufacturing and Validation at Arbor Pharmaceuticals from 2011 until their most recent position as the Vice President of Technical Operations at Azurity Pharmaceuticals since 2023.

Adel Gomez began their education in 1991 at Florida State University, where they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. Adel attended this institution until 1995. Following this, Adel pursued further education at Southern Polytechnic State University from 2000 to 2003. During this period, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Quality Assurance.
