Gareth Howells

Gareth Howells is the Chief Risk & Compliance Officer at BLME since January 2020. Prior to this, Gareth worked at QIB (UK) as the Chief Risk Officer and Executive Director from March 2015 to June 2019. He also has a background in risk management at Royal Bank of Scotland, where he held various roles from 2002 to 2014. Gareth's career includes experience in credit analysis, client relationship management, and developing risk frameworks across different sectors. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Banking from The University of Manchester, along with other banking-related certifications.
