Thomas Canon

Thomas Canon is an experienced professional in the fields of sustainability and particle therapy, currently serving as the Sustainability Program Director at IBA since June 2001, where efforts focus on integrating stakeholder approaches into products and processes. Canon has led significant initiatives including the BCorp certification for IBA Group and oversight of new infrastructure projects, such as the Beam Factory. Previous roles at IBA included managing the Product Life Cycle Management Program and heading the Particle Therapy Product Engineering team, directing the development of key systems and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Prior to IBA, Canon worked at THALES ALENIA SPACE in various senior roles, gaining expertise in high-quality manufacturing and satellite technology. Education includes degrees from Université catholique de Louvain and participation in sustainability programs with B Lab Europe and INSEAD.
