Joakim Saul has an extensive work experience in the advertising and design industry. Joakim started their career at XIT as an Art Director in 1995 and worked there until 1999. Joakim then joined ACNE as an Art Director and stayed there until 2001. From 2001 to 2002, Joakim worked as an Art Director at Paradiset DDB, and then moved on to Grey where they served as an Art Director from 2002 to 2004. In 2004, they joined Neil Powell Design as an Art Director and worked there until 2005 when they joined BBH Global in the same role. Joakim worked at BBH Global as an Art Director until 2010 when they joined Droga5 as a Creative Director. Joakim worked at Droga5 until 2013. In 2016, Joakim Saul joined BBDO Worldwide as a Creative Director and stayed there until 2018. After that, they worked at TBWA\\Chiat\\Day as an Executive Creative Director from 2019 to 2020. Currently, Joakim is serving as the Executive Creative Director at B-Reel, starting from December 2021.

Joakim Saul started their education journey in 1994, when they attended the EYI Art School of Finland. Joakim studied graphic design there for a year, concluding their education in 1995. After a gap of several years, they enrolled at the Berghs School of Communication in 1999 and completed their degree in Art Direction and Visual Communication in 2001. Joakim then took a break from their formal education before pursuing their interest in photography. In 2012, they attended the International Center of Photography in New York City, focusing on the field of photography. Joakim completed their studies at the center in 2013.
