Jakob Rode has extensive experience in various marketing and advertising roles. Jakob is currently the Head of Programmatic Advertising and Search at B2B Media Group since 2020. Prior to this, they held the same position at Aumago GmbH from 2017 to 2019. From 2013 to 2015, they served as the Chief Marketing Officer at Stiefelparadies GmbH, where they were responsible for the conception and relaunch of the stiefelparadies.de webshop and the marketing setup under performance-marketing aspects. Before that, Jakob worked as the Chief Marketing Officer and Consultant at Private Collections Internet GmbH from 2012 to 2013 and as the Chief Marketing Officer at mysportgroup GmbH from 2010 to 2012. Jakob started their career as the Deputy Head of Marketing at Plus Online GmbH from 2005 to 2010 and worked as a Senior Project Manager at clicktivities ag from 2001 to 2005. Jakob began their professional journey as a Project Manager at Adcore AB from 2000 to 2001.

Jakob Rode obtained a Diplom Kaufmann (FH) degree in Geschäfts-/betriebliche Ökonomie from Rheinische Fachhochschule Köln, completing their education from 1997 to 2001. Jakob has also acquired additional certifications from Google Digital Academy (Skillshop), including the Campaign manager 360 Certification Exam in November 2022 and the Display & Video 360 Certification Exam in September 2023.
