Chris Ward

Chris Ward is an accomplished engineering manager with extensive experience in mobile and software development. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at Babbel since June 2023, Chris previously held leadership positions at Nord Security as Head of Engineering for NordVPN Android and as an Android Engineering Manager. Prior roles include Android Developer at ImmobilienScout24 and bonify Germany, and Senior Mobile Developer at T101 Ltd, where Chris contributed to the development of a successful gay dating app. Chris's earlier career includes significant software engineering roles at Priocept and The Brand Union, alongside a voluntary position as Chief Technical Officer for Out4Marriage. Chris has a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Bath and a Bachelor of Science in Computing & Information Technology from the University of Surrey.
