Ralf Chille

Ralf Chille has a strong background in design and user experience, with experience at various companies. Ralf is currently serving as the Head of Design System at Babbel since October 2022. Previously, they held the position of Head of Design and UX at Xircle from August 2021 to September 2022. Before that, Ralf worked as a UX Design & Product Design Strategist at Ralf Chille, their own company, from June 2011 to May 2022. Ralf also served as the Director of Experience Design (UX/UI) at IBM iX from February 2021 to July 2021. Ralf has extensive experience as a Head of Design & UX at Xircles from June 2016 to January 2021, and as the Head of Design at BigRep GmbH from January 2014 to February 2017. Prior to that, they served as the Creative Director and Co-Founder at TPA Communications GmbH from March 2003 to May 2011. Ralf's early career includes roles such as Art Direction and UX Design at Mutation Workspace from 2002 to 2005, and Art Director New Media at pleasant net from 2001 to 2003. Additionally, they co-founded backup_festival in May 1999, where they served until May 2001.

Ralf Chille attended Bauhaus-Universität Weimar from 1998 to 2003, where they obtained a Diplom degree in Mediengestaltung, FB Interfacedesign. Ralf also briefly enrolled in Designers Dock in 2008, focusing on Brand Strategy.
