Mark Powell Mbe

Mark Powell MBE serves as the Senior Vice President of International Operations at Babel Street since September 2019, having previously held the role of Vice President for European Operations and Business Development. Prior experience includes a position at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, where Mark focused on Technology Adoption and Digital Innovation at the British Embassy in Washington, DC from July 2017 to July 2019. Mark's extensive background with the UK Ministry of Defence from November 2004 to June 2017 includes senior leadership in Intelligence Operations, characterized by delivering complex human and technical operations in demanding environments. Mark began a distinguished career as an Infantry Officer in the British Army from May 1995 to November 2004.
