Yamlaksira Getachew

Yamlaksira Getachew is an Assistant Professor of Strategy at Babson College since August 2022, previously serving as an Assistant Professor in International Business and Strategy at Loyola Marymount University from September 2017 to August 2022. Yamlaksira held a consulting position with UNCTAD focused on foreign direct investment in the Least Developed Countries from June 2021 to January 2022. Yamlaksira completed a PhD in International Business and Strategy at Ivey Business School at Western University between September 2012 and August 2017, after earning an MBA from Addis Ababa University and a BA in Business Management from Jimma University. Additionally, Yamlaksira worked as a lecturer at Addis Ababa University from November 2007 to August 2012.
