Jen (Maitland) Hyde has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jen has worked in various roles and industries, including non-profit organizations and retail.

Jen started their career at EF Educational Tours as a Tour Consultant from October 2005 to January 2007. Jen then joined Special Olympics Team USA as an Assistant Sport Manager from March 2010 to June 2011. In this role, they managed and supported a team of 75 athletes and coaches during the Winter and Summer World Games, and also provided assistance in traveling and daily living skills to athletes.

Jen then joined Special Olympics Massachusetts as a Director of Sports Management from January 2007 to July 2011. Jen first worked in the US Market from June 2015 to May 2016, where they managed internal processes, ensured alignment with the strategic plan, and maintained relationships with key stakeholders. Jen then moved to the Global team from July 2011 to June 2015, where they led cross-functional projects, wrote project briefs, and established a process for the brand to have a global face while catering to regional needs.

Jen's next role was as the Executive Director of Camp To Belong from May 2016 to April 2019. In this position, they led the organization serving at-risk youth in foster care across multiple locations, managed the operating budget, increased annual revenue, expanded programming and reach, and implemented program evaluation tools.

Currently, Jen is working at Back on My Feet as the Territory Director, a position they have held since September 2022. Jen is responsible for ensuring the success and long-term sustainability of the Boston chapter, managing staff and budgets, strategic planning, and program implementation. Jen also drives program impact and growth by expanding program reach and partnerships.
