Nicolás Hurtado León

Nicolás Hurtado León has a diverse work experience in the field of Android development and software engineering. Nicolás is currently working at Backbase as an Android Tech Lead, where they have led and mentored a team of developers to build banking apps for a top UK and European bank. Nicolás has also made significant contributions to the team's efficiency and productivity by implementing improvements in CI/CD pipelines and technology configurations. Prior to their current role, Nicolás worked as a Senior Android Developer at Backbase, where they implemented various features and supported multiple projects across different regions.

Before joining Backbase, Nicolás worked at Sytac as a Senior Android Developer, where they played a key role in structuring the career technical assessment program for mobile developers. Nicolás also conducted technical meetings, assessments, and interviews to acquire new clients and expand the mobile development team.

Nicolás has also worked at Qardio, Inc. as a Senior Android Developer, where they played a significant role in improving the Qardio App's ratings and crash-free users through the implementation of better software development practices.

Additionally, Nicolás has entrepreneurial experience as the Founder and Developer of BikySpot, a platform for creating and sharing real-time location with bicycle riders.
