Yasmin Siraj

Yasmin Siraj is an accomplished investment manager currently with BACKED VC since September 2022, and also serves as a board member at Cytosolix, Inc. Yasmin held various significant roles, including Head of Venture Capital on the Executive Board at the Cambridge University Venture Capital and Private Equity Society from October 2021 to September 2022, and participated in the inaugural cohort of the King's Entrepreneurship Lab at the University of Cambridge. Previous experience includes positions such as research intern at General Catalyst, consultant at Global Bio Fund, and venture capital intern at RA Capital Management, with foundational experience as a senior consultant at Oliver Wyman. Yasmin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Harvard University, a Master of Philosophy in Bioscience Enterprise from the University of Cambridge, and a Credential of Readiness from Harvard Business School. Additionally, Yasmin's background includes coaching professional skaters as a certified coach with the US Figure Skating Association.
