Savanna Baxter

Savanna Baxter has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Savanna started their career in 2008 as a part-time pet sitter, managing schedules and providing care for clients' pets. In 2014, they worked as an IT Risk Analyst Intern at CIT, where they developed a database and analyzed user access data.

In 2015, they interned at SAS as a Business Intelligence Research and Development Intern, where they modified and translated a terminal program into a web application. Savanna taught herself Python, JavaScript, and other technologies to develop a REST API and a web app that provided statistics on file analysis.

From 2016, Savanna worked at Background Investigation Bureau (BIB) as a Senior Software Engineer and Web Developer. Savanna utilized technologies like Vue.js, ColdFusion, SQL, Bootstrap, and jQuery to verify applicant information, streamline research processes, and generate metrics reports. Savanna also worked as the sole developer on some projects, using agile methodologies to manage multiple projects.

In 2017, they joined We Rock Charlotte as a Production Coordinator and later became the Production Director. Savanna managed gear inventory, coordinated concerts, set up instruments and sound equipment, coached bands in songwriting and stage performance, and taught keyboard and drum lessons. Savanna also contributed to Hey RICHARD as a keyboardist, playing synthesizer and melodica in a band that writes and performs original songs.

Prior to that, they worked as a Media Consultant and Social Media Marketer at Window Wear Design & Kallie's Couture in 2016.
