Peter Klingman

Peter Klingman has over 7 years of experience working in various roles across different industries. Peter currently works as a Software Engineer at Backpack, where they are responsible for greenfielding new features on a core data management app. Prior to this, they worked at Esri as a Product Advocacy Lead, ArcGIS Enterprise Analyst, and ArcGIS Analyst where they assisted customers with Enterprise web GIS stack install and usage. Peter has also worked as a Full Stack Engineer at Appraiser and as an Algorithm Video Educator at Signal Software Engineering. Additionally, they have experience working in behavioral therapy for neurodiverse students and as a Regional SES Coordinator at Applied Scholastics, where they assembled and managed a team of tutors for students eligible for Supplemental Educational Services. Peter has also worked as a Site Director at Destination Science, where they coordinated daily schedules and facilitated a collaborative environment for students. Overall, they have a diverse range of skills and experiences in technical and behavioral fields.

Peter Klingman earned a B.A. in Philosophy with a minor in History from Pitzer College from 2009 to 2013. Peter then pursued a Master of Science in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from Johns Hopkins University Advanced Academic Programs between 2016 and 2018.
