Robert Probst has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries. Robert started their career as a Gas Attendant at Circle K in 2011 and later worked as a Shop Laborer at Converting Systems, Inc from 2012 to 2014. In 2014, they joined Kansas State University as an Editorial Assistant Intern for Kansas History: A Journal of the Central Plains and also served as an Undergraduate English Instructor/Graduate Student until 2016.
From 2015 to 2015, they worked as a Sales Support at Fastenal. In 2017, they worked as a Quality Assurance Apprentice at Jellyvision and also did freelance copyediting work.
In 2018, Robert joined Backstop Solutions Group as a Software Test Engineer II, where they conducted detailed manual and automated testing for front and backend services.
Since 2019, they have been the Owner and Copyeditor of The Macaron Press, an independent press that offers translation services for Japanese artists. In this role, they engage in market analysis, coordinates with a global team, and performs copyediting and typesetting reviews to produce polished drafts of scripts and comics.
Robert Probst earned an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Elgin Community College, where they studied from 2007 to 2009. Robert then enrolled at Augustana College, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology from 2009 to 2011. Later, they pursued a Master's Degree in English Language and Literature, General at Kansas State University, which they completed from 2014 to 2016.
