Stuart Purgavie

Stuart Purgavie has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Stuart started their career at STAPLES Canada, where they worked as a Sales Area Associate and Resident Technician, handling PC repairs, software and hardware installations, and troubleshooting. Stuart excelled in their role, significantly increasing the department's weekly revenue and taking on additional responsibilities as a keyholder.

After STAPLES, Stuart joined Mount Washington Alpine Resort as a Retail Systems Maintenance employee. Here, they managed a large inventory merge, became proficient in a proprietary POS system, and developed reporting systems for management.

Following their time at the resort, Stuart worked at TEKsystems, first as a Technical Support Specialist and then as an IT QA Lab Administrator at lululemon athletica. In these roles, they focused on testing and deploying new technologies, providing technical support, and managing lab resources.

Stuart'sresponsibilities included designing scalable solutions, leading Agile ceremonies, and implementing Infrastructure-as-code and Configuration-as-code pipelines.

Currently, Stuart is employed as a Lead DevOps Engineer at Badal.io, showcasing their expertise in DevOps practices.
