Matthew Whitaker

Matthew Whitaker is an experienced construction management professional with a strong background in overseeing large-scale projects. Currently serving as Site Manager at Badge Constructions since September 2020, Matthew is managing the $8.3 million project at Deception Bay State High School for the Department of Education and previously worked on the Mitchelton Special School project. Prior roles include Site Supervisor at Tomkins Commercial, where Matthew led the development of the new arts precinct at St. Rita’s College, and Site Supervisor at Probuild Constructions, notable for managing multiple significant projects, including the award-winning Stirling Cross Apartments. Earlier experience as Project Coordinator at Built Environs included leading administrative efforts on various major infrastructure projects, including the $1.14 billion Adelaide Desalination Plant. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Construction Management and Economics (Honours) from the University of South Australia.
