Abhay Bhiwapurkar

Abhay Bhiwapurkar, PMP®, currently serves as Deputy General Manager - Vice President at BAE Systems, Inc. since September 2023, focusing on business growth and strategy in defense, commercial, and international markets. Prior to this, Abhay was with Dana Incorporated from September 2019 to August 2023, where responsibilities included leading project management teams and establishing a corporate engineering PMO aimed at enhancing project management rigor. Abhay's experience also includes a significant tenure at Continental from February 2008 to September 2019, where accomplishments encompassed leading large-scale instrument cluster programs and receiving a Continental Excellence Award for outstanding dedication. Additional roles included software validation engineering at Siemens and software engineering internship at EDAS Technologies. Abhay holds a Master's in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Portland State University, an MBA in International Business from Oakland University, and a Bachelor's in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Nagpur University.
