Clifton Trout

Clifton Trout is the Vice President of Strategy, Mission, and Technology at BAE Systems, Inc. since March 2022. Prior to this role, Trout served as the Executive Director of U.S. Business Development and Government Relations and as the Senior Director of Global Strategy and Strategic Initiatives at AM General LLC. Trout has extensive experience in military and defense strategy, having held positions such as Director of the Strategic Initiatives Group in the Office of the Secretary of the Army and Army Strategist on the National Defense Strategy Core Team in the Immediate Office of the Secretary of Defense. Educational qualifications include fellowships at Harvard University and MIT, as well as a Master's of Strategic Art from The United States Army War College and a Master's of Public Policy from Central Michigan University.
