Troy Brown

Troy Brown is an accomplished engineering and defense professional with extensive experience in naval operations and warfighting development. Currently serving as the Wallops Island CSS Engineering Lead and Senior Technical Specialist at BAE Systems, Inc., since December 2021, Troy integrates naval warfighting development and coordinates cross-domain capability improvement initiatives. Prior experience includes a senior analyst role at GPI-LLC and a distinguished career as a naval officer with the US Navy from 1990 to 2021, where Troy held various leadership positions, including coordination of warfighting effectiveness enhancement and capability analysis. Troy's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a College of Naval Command and Staff from the Naval War College, and a Master’s in Business Administration from California Coast University.
