Heather Jacobsen has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Heather started their career as a Senior Accountant at Moss Adams LLP in 1996 and worked there until 1999. Heather then joined Iacopi, Lenz & Company as a Tax and Financial Accountant, where they worked until 2006.
In 2006, they joined the California Medical Association as an Accounting Manager and later transitioned to the role of Controller in 2008. Heather worked at the association until 2013.
In 2013, Heather joined PwC as a Flexible Talent Network Senior Associate and worked until 2014. During the same year, they also worked as an Accounting Consultant at Commonwealth Ventures, LLC.
From 2014 to 2019, Heather worked at CommunityHealth as the Director of Finance and Administration. In 2019, they joined BAI as a Controller, where they are currently employed.
Heather Jacobsen holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Economics with an Accounting Emphasis from UC Santa Barbara. Heather also has obtained a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the California Board of Accountancy in May 1999 and another from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation in April 2015.
