James Talbert

James Talbert is an Associate Attorney at Bailey Cavalieri LLC, specializing in insurance coverage matters since May 2014, particularly in analyzing coverage and monitoring claims related to professional liability policies. Previously, Talbert served as Editor-in-Chief of the Ohio State Journal of Criminal Law from January 2014 to June 2015, managing the editing and publishing process for the journal. Other experiences include an externship at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio in 2013, and working as a Business Development Associate at Payliance from September 2011 to August 2012, where responsibilities included client onboarding and reporting on new business. Talbert began their career as a Page at the Ohio Senate, assisting the Chief of Staff for the Republican Caucus. Talbert earned a Juris Doctor degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 2015 and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and International Studies from The Ohio State University, completed in 2010.
