Jim Lewis

Jim Lewis is a highly experienced Senior Hydrology and Hydraulics/Water Resource Engineer currently employed at Baird & Associates since September 2022. Prior to this role, Jim held various positions at the US Army Corps of Engineers from June 2010 to September 2022, including Director of the Mississippi River Science and Technology Office and Hydraulic Engineer. Jim has also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Lecturer and Graduate Student Instructor at the University of Michigan, where courses focused on fluid mechanics and hydrology. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Michigan, along with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Kentucky and a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Science from Asbury University.
