Joe Moate is a highly experienced engineer with a strong background in chemical engineering and extensive expertise in CO2 capture and utilization technologies. Currently serving as a Lead Engineer at Baker Hughes since July 2017, Joe focuses on a waste heat utilization project for capturing and separating CO2 from engine exhaust. Prior roles include Lead Engineer at NextStream, Research Engineer at GE Oil & Gas, and Research Engineer at GE Global Research, where Joe contributed to process optimization and modeling for carbon capture technologies. Joe's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor's degree from the Florida Institute of Technology.
