Einar Wathne

Einar Wathne is an accomplished industry expert and academic with extensive experience in the aqua feed, aquaculture, and seafood sectors. Currently serving as an Industry Expert at Kverva AS and an Assistant Professor at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences, Einar has also been actively involved in investment and advisory roles since February 2019 at Norsk Bioakva/Bioakva Consult. Einar's leadership positions include Chair of the Board at Nutrimar Holding AS and Aquacloud AS, as well as Chairman of the NCE Seafood Innovation Cluster. Additionally, Einar holds board memberships at several organizations, including Bakkafrost and HATCH Blue. With a PhD in aquaculture and an MBA from BI Norwegian Business School, Einar leverages a strong academic background along with strategic insights gained from a rich career in business.
