Matty van Ewijk

Matty Van Ewijk is a seasoned professional in energy transition and sustainability, currently serving as a Senior Advisor for energy transition at Balance since October 2022. Matty has a diverse background, operating as an independent consultant at Echt Duurzaam since 2014 and founding Sense of Urgency to support sustainable community development. Previously held senior advisory roles at De WarmteTransitieMakers and the Municipality of Zaanstad, as well as positions in various organizations focused on sustainable development and policy-making. Matty's academic foundation includes a master's degree in Economics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, complemented by early education at Haarlemmermeer Lyceum and Meerwijzer.
