Carl Ray has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Carl currently works as a User Experience Designer at Balance Innovations, a Brink's Division since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a UX Designer at Dairy Farmers of America from July 2018 to May 2022.

Earlier in their career, Carl held multiple roles at Staples Promotional Products, starting as a Web Developer from April 2017 to July 2018 and then progressing to become a Senior Art Director from September 2011 to March 2017. Carl was responsible for supervising a team of three Art Directors, presenting creative concepts, and designing websites with cross-browser compatibility.

Carl gained experience in customer service and product knowledge as a Mac Specialist at Apple Retail from 2008 to 2009.

Carl started their career as a Graphic Designer at the Sunflower Group from December 2004 to December 2007, where they incorporated client ideas into designs, developed artwork for advertising, and supervised freelancers.

Carl also has experience as a Marketing Intern at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) from May 2003 to August 2003, developing marketing campaigns and serving as a liaison between Kansas Tribal communities and EPA tribal solid waste division.

Carl began their career in the media industry as a Creative/Creative Manager at University Daily Kansan from August 2001 to January 2003, where they supervised a creative team, managed ad production, and handled all creative aspects of the daily newspaper.

Additionally, Carl worked briefly as a Web/Interface Designer at TRADOC Analysis Center in 2001, where they developed and published the organization's intranet website ahead of schedule.

Carl Ray attended The University of Kansas from 2001 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Strategic Communications.
