Ryan Dunton has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Ryan started their career as a Wealth Management Intern at Idaho Trust Bank in 2013. In 2014, they worked at the Idaho Governor's Office as a Staff Intern. Following that, they joined Quantifind as a Sales Development representative in 2015. In 2016, they completed Front-End and Full Stack Web Developer Nanodegrees at Udacity.

From 2016 to 2017, Ryan worked as a Freelance Developer on a project called Recando. In 2017, they joined Area 23 as a Frontend Developer and contributed to developing projects. The following year, they worked at The Wall Street Journal Custom Studios as a Software Developer, where they enhanced templates and created customized experiences for clients.

Ryan then moved to Equinox in 2019 as a Software Engineer, and in 2020, they joined Bread as a Solutions Engineer. At Bread, they played a crucial role in multi-million dollar deals, collaborating with merchants, technical teams, and internal stakeholders to successfully implement Bread's Buy Now Pay Later solution. Ryan received the Hall of Fame award for their outstanding performance and served as a role model for their peers. Ryan also led a rapidly growing team and worked on delivering bespoke features and revamping documentation to improve the merchant experience.

Currently, Ryan works at Balance as a Solutions Engineer, starting in 2022. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong technical skills, communication abilities, and a consultative approach to working with merchants.

Ryan Dunton attended Boise State University from 2011 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics. Prior to that, they studied Economics at Whitworth University from 2010 to 2011, though they did not receive a degree from there.
