Robert Clifford

Robert Clifford is an experienced claims management professional with a career spanning over three decades in the insurance industry. Currently serving as Claims Manager, SIU and Cost Containment at Baldwin & Lyons, Inc. since 2009, Robert oversees a team of claim professionals focused on trucking and public transportation claims, as well as managing the Special Investigations Unit and auditing functions. Prior to this role, Robert held multiple positions at Travelers Insurance from 1997 to March 2010, including Director of Quality Management, where responsibilities encompassed managing complex operations and developing training programs. Robert also has a background as Claims Examiner and Claims Manager, demonstrating expertise in claims review and team management. Earlier experience with American International Group included roles as Claims Professional and Manager, focusing on high exposure commercial lines claims and team performance.
