Gihan Wickremasuriya has extensive work experience in the clean energy industry, with a focus on customer care, business operations, and sales. Gihan started their career at Ballard Power Systems in 2000 as a contractor before transitioning into roles as a marketing assistant and sales analyst. In 2006, they became a senior analyst in sales, where they provided cross-functional support across the sales cycle. Gihan then moved into customer service, where they directed service center orders and improved customer support processes. In 2013, they joined AFCC Automotive Fuel Cell Cooperation Corp. as a contractor and later as a senior business analyst, where they focused on improving purchasing processes. Gihan returned to Ballard Power Systems in 2017 as an after-sales specialist and eventually took on the role of team lead for customer care business operations, where they led business process improvement projects and supervised the after-sales business operations team. Gihan's expertise lies in leadership, coaching, business process improvement, ERP implementation, and customer care.
