Alessandro Poma

Alessandro Poma is an experienced professional in the field of chemistry and engineering, currently serving as an Alkoxylation Technical & Business Development Engineer at Ballestra since November 2023. Prior to this, Alessandro worked as an R&D Scientist at 3V SIGMA S.p.a. from November 2017 to October 2023, focusing on polymer chemistry for suspending and water thickening agents, overseeing product development from laboratory to production. Alessandro completed a PhD in Chemistry at Università degli Studi di Milano, where research centered on photoactive materials for solar fuels production, along with a visiting PhD placement at Université de Strasbourg examining dipyrrin-based metal-organic frameworks. Alessandro holds multiple degrees in Chemistry from Università degli Studi di Milano and a scientific maturity diploma from Istituto Industriale Statale L. Galvani.
