Natalia Mesa

Natalia Mesa has a diverse work experience in the field of dance. Natalia currently serves as the Community Engagement Director at Ballet Hispánico since July 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Battery Dance as the US Programs Manager/Battery Dance Festival Manager from November 2015 to June 2019, and as the Program Coordinator and Studio Manager from January 2014 to November 2015. Additionally, Natalia has also worked at IMG Artists as part of the Touring, Dance and Attractions team from August 2014 to January 2015. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Teaching Artist at Clancy Works Inc and Dakshina Dance Company from March 2011 to January 2013, where they also served as a Dancer.

Natalia Mesa earned their Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design with a minor in Business Administration from Universidad de Los Andes between the years 2001 and 2007. Natalia then pursued their passion for Modern Dance, obtaining a degree in Modern Dance from The Ailey School from 2010 to 2012. Natalia further enhanced their skills and knowledge by completing a Master's Degree in Performing Arts Administration from New York University from 2013 to 2015.
