Anthony Hill Jr.

Anthony Hill Jr. has a diverse work experience. Anthony has held roles in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. Anthony began their career in 2014 as an Assistant to the Department Head in the Department of Criminal Justice & Criminology at Georgia Southern University. Anthony also served as an Assistant to the Dean in the College of Science and Mathematics, and as a Student Writing Fellow in the Quality Enhancement Program. In 2016, they became an Intern at the Georgia Legal Services Program and a Legislative Aide in the Office of the House Minority Leader at the Georgia General Assembly House of Representatives. In 2019, they became a Notary Public and a Communications Associate at Fair Count, Inc. Anthony also took on the role of City Clerk at The City of Lithonia, where they were responsible for preparing council agenda and assembling documents for all council meetings, preparing meeting minutes, maintaining files, researching, filing, and maintaining ordinances and resolutions for city council actions, and controlling, inventorying, and monitoring all public records and archives of the City in compliance with state record retention requirements. In 2021, they began working as a Communications Coordinator at the Georgia Budget and Policy Institute, a Researcher at BallotReady, and a Presidential Researcher at American Bridge PAC.

Anthony Hill Jr. attended Georgia Southern University from 2013 to 2018, where they obtained a Dual Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Writing and Linguistics.
